Size really does matter when you are growing up.

There is an ongoing battle in our house which revolves around a particularly lovely height chart the girls were given a year or so ago called “I’m as big as…”

By rights, The Redhead should be the tallest, she is 2 years and 3 months older than her “little” sister. But the leggy genes seem to have kicked in for The Blonde, so it’s now anyone’s game to make it to the next centimetre on the height chart.

Both girls think think they are taller than the other so tonight I thought I’d clear things up…and here’s the result…what do you think?!

Now both officially the size of A Chimpanzee according to the height chart!

Now both officially the size of A Chimpanzee according to the height chart!

In case you’re wondering, I’m as big as…”the average British woman” (nothing wrong with average) and daddy and all the rest of the family fall somewhere fairly normal on the chart height-wise.

So The Redhead is a bit miffed that she’s no longer leading the way up the chart, and I keep reassuring her that my own “little sister” is in fact a lot taller than me and that’s just life and the gene pool! But the one thing the girls do agree on is that it’s pretty cool to have our own family star who has made it all the way to top of the chart. Their uncle, my brother, has smashed everyone by being on the final centimetre and declared as big as…”less than 1% of the World”! I’m never going to beat that!

xx
